KidzTown's "KidStuf Connection"

(9:45 a.m. for K-4th Grade)

In KidzTown during the 9:45 a.m. hour we use a curriculum called 252 Basics (http://252basics.org).  We view this as a strategy rather than a curriculum.  We want kids to discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  252 Basics uses Luke 2:52 as a framework to help kids grow up as Jesus did.

Luke 2:52 says “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.”

In each classroom there is a Facilitator to meet/greet all the children as they arrive and help them find their Small Group within the classroom.  After a brief opening time the kids are introduced to the virtue of the month and the main point for the day, then we Engage their Hearts with the DVD Bible Story shown in the classroom.

The Small Group Leaders in the classroom are assigned 10-12 children, depending on class sizes.  During the “Catch-on” time, the children participate in activities where they “Make the Connection” with the lesson and most importantly build a lasting one-on-one relationship with the kids in their group as well as their Small Group Leader.

 KidzTown’s "KidStuf LIVE”

(Large Group @ 11 a.m., K-4th)

KidzTown's "KidStuf LIVE" (our Large Group Time) is held in our newly renovated KidZone Theater on the first floor of the Education Building.

Our "KidStuf LIVE" program includes live skits with real actors (don't tell them we know they are not real actors) to help the kidz see their Bible Story in action, Prayer Time, Announcements, KidZone Praise Team performances and much more.
