Please pray for my wonderful eighty-five year old father. He was improving and getting more mobile from having the stroke in April. Very early Friday morning, he tried to get out of bed on his own and fell. He is in the hospital with a fractured pelvis. He is in pain but in good spirits. Yesterday was my parents' fifty-eighth wedding anniversary. Thank you for prayers.

My son got into trouble with one of his friends. His friend and my son have to go to Boot Camp. My son's friend has gone to boot camp, but my son is still in jail. My prayer request is that God has allowed my son to leave this morning to go to Boot Camp so he can complete his time. I have prayed so hard for God to answer my prayer request.

Please pray for me and my family. I was in the hospital again and just can't seem to get the right doctor to help me with this desease. The hospital gets me back on my feet but my desease is still here. Please pray that someone can help me get to the right doctor that would be willing to help with the surgary that I so desperately need. Also, please pray that the light company will not disconnect my lights. I don't have the money for my lights and they are going to disconnect on the 17th. Thank you Connie

My friend Janet Long was just diagnosed with a type of Sarcoma cancer. She said it was a one in two million chance to get this. It is logged in her pelvic area and has to be surgically removed. Chemotherapy will not work with it. I am not sure she has a church home. She is desperately seeking prayers and help. This Sept. she will have surgery and start physical therapy. Any help has been requested. She has a preschool aged boy and a girl in the early years of school. If you are available to give any kind of help that comes to mind you can e-mail her at janet.long@cfisd.net and let her know I gave you the e-mail. God is good, all the time God is good!

Many thanks for your prayers for my brother Bob who had several surgeries in March followed by Radiation and Chemo Therapy treatments thru May and June. He is currently recovering. The praises are that he never got sick throughout his treatment and he was able to continue working part of most days.
In September he will have more scans to see if they got everything. Please continue to pray that the scans will show my brother to be cancer free.

Pray for Connie Pitcher for healing and restoration of her health. She was taken to North Cypressss Hospital on Monday by ambulance and hospitalized into ICU. She has a very, very low platelet count and needs our prayers. Also, pray for her family. Her husband and three young children are at home and so concerned for her welfare.

Please pray for my sister, Sheri. She had neck/neuro surgery last week. Today they discovered the wound is infected and they are taking her back into surgery. Please pray for her healing and her family.

Please remember the Walls family in your prayers (as in Pastor John). Jake was bitten by a dog on the arm yesterday which required immediate surgery for nerve damage. Pastor John reports that the surgery went great but 18 months of rehab is needed to gain full use of the wrist. Jake is probably headed home today. Pray for healing and recovery for Jake.

Please continue to pray for Mary Gilliam. She will have a kidney biopsy today (Friday) at 11am at Memorial Childrens in the medical center. Please pray for comfort and healing. Please pray for Patrice (mom) for continued strength and peace.

We are asking for prayers, as Elizabeth is scheduled to go to Iraq in February.  She said it will be a "Yellow Zone", but we aren't happy about anyone being over there or in Afghanistan.  We are praying for her safety, as well as her spiritual growth and commitment.  She will be over there 11 months, and she has a good attitude about it.  Thanks again for putting her on your prayer lists.

Thanks for praying for this VBS need. Reba Newton has volunteered to lead the last 5 year old class. It is even the same room she teaches in on Sunday morning! Woohoo!

"Mary and I need your help in praying that God does something BIG. We need one lead teacher for a 5 year old class. We have 2 Student assistants, but we need an adult leader. There are 14 kidz in the class. The leader only has to deliver (could even read it verbatim) one 20-minute bible study each day. The rest of the time is focused on other activities.

We need this spot filled by tomorrow. Mary has asked everyone she knows to ask. Please join us in praying that God brings someone to us that will love these kidz next week."

Please pray for an elderly Aunt - Lucelle Shugart - she had a stroke Sunday night and a heart attack on Monday and is in the Dallas Baylor Medical Center. She has paralysis on the right side and is unable to speak or swallow. Please pray for healing and strength and for peace and comfort for her daughter during this time.

Please pray for my brother, James Boring, diagnosed with acute leukemia and is in MD Anderson in isolation receiving treatment. He has now developed pneumonia and is having heart problems and has been moved to a cardiac unit. Please pray for healing and recovery and the medical staff for knowledge and wisdom as they administer to him. For his wife and two sons for strength and courage during this difficult time.

Praise for my friend, Carl Kelly. His cancer counts have gone down! He still has a long way to go so please continue to pray for his complete healing.

Please pray for healing for Everette Bird who is hospitalized with pneumonia and confusion and dehydration. Also for Grover Ricker who is hospitalized with excess fluid in abdomen and legs due to cirrhosis and he is also confused. Thank you for your prayer support.

Clay went to the ER last night and was diagnosed with a kidney stone. Please pray that he is not in pain and that he is able to keep working until it is resolved.
