I’ve known I want to dedicate my life to working with children since I was 8 years old. This calling developed into a desire to become a counselor when I was in college and I have been pursuing it ever since. I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Baptist University in 2018 and am currently pursuing training in Play Therapy and other attachment based modalities.
My experience working with children started when I became an aunt in third grade and has extended to babysitter, camp counselor, nanny, and Pre-K teacher. I first want to build a trusting relationship with my clients by providing them with a unique and safe place to connect so they can experience freedom, safety, and ownership in the therapeutic process. As a Christian counselor, I have the unique opportunity of being both led by the Holy Spirit and clinical knowledge to help a client and this opportunity is one I am deeply grateful for.
In my free time, I love spending time with my community and my rescue pup. I enjoy reading and continuing to learn, being outside, and visiting Houston’s many coffees shops.
