Daron Adkison
Lead Pastor
I came on staff in September of 1996. I was just a young kid still in seminary, but Fairfield called me to serve the students of the church. I was the Student Pastor for three years before transitioning to an Adult Education/Administration role. Shortly after, the Church decided to create the position of Executive Pastor where I served before becoming the Lead Pastor. I consider my job to be making sure all the other staff has what they need to be successful in their ministries. It is an honor to serve this church and this team.
I have been married to Julie for 28 years. We have three incredible sons, Cade, Reid and Cooper. When I’m not working at the church, I enjoy traveling with my family, backpacking and hiking with friends, and fantasy football. Some of my favorite books are Outliers by Malcom Gladwell, Seizing Your Divine Moment by Erwin McManus, and anything written by Jeff Shaara, John Grisham, or Tom Clancy.
