Sonshine Mother’s Day Out (MDO) is a two-day-a-week faith-based preschool program for children from 12 months of age (by September 1) through age five.  We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM during the school year (September through May).  We strive to promote spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and social development by providing children with a loving Christ-based home away from home.

Mission

Our purpose is not only to prepare children for kindergarten but to prepare them for eternity by sharing God’s love for them in all we say and do; we feel they will be better equipped to handle school (and life) if they first learn who God is and all He has done for us.  It is our goal, while upholding this purpose, to also be a positive influence in each family and share the love of Christ at every opportunity. 

Curriculum

Each age group follows a thematic curriculum that works on age-appropriate skills to lay the foundation for future academic learning while also emphasizing God’s Word and how every story within the Bible points to God’s ultimate plan of redemption:  Jesus.
